Aunt Darcy loves soccer and she suggested I post my photos from the World Cup.
I am a small tiger so I hope you can see me in the pictures.
We had a tailgate party at work at lunchtime today!!! Yayyyy! I have a tail but no one else did. It is okay.
Brian and Ed were working the grills. Brian is an expert tailgater. YuMmmm tigers love barbeques.
It was a potluck and everyone brought fantastic yummy things to eat. Look at these delicious strawberries.
Here I am with Brandi. She is so nice and so beautiful! And she is eating a hot dog with BACON !!! And peanut butter and also maple syrup on it !!!! OMG! I love this woman!
Look what Mom got at the store!!!!! It is a Hello Kitty tote bag. Me and Dixie fit in it just perfect!!! Mom says she got it to carry stuff to work. Like lunch and snacks. It is true that her current tote bag is falling apart. But she should get another Hello Kitty bag just for me and Dixie. Also she should consider whether this tote is an appropriate professional accessory.
The tote bag came with a pair of super cool pink sunglasses! That are too small for mom to wear. These are sunglasses for kitties. Cool kitties.
We went for a walk to see the construction site near our house.
These machines are huge! Look how tiny me and Dixie are inside this gigantic wheel.
Ha ha! Here were are inside the cab of one of the machines. If only I could reach the controls!
Dixie was kind of sad. Wild animals use to live here. Soon there will be houses here with people living in them instead of rabbits and raccoons. And tigers.
We felt better after we got home to our nice yard where we could play. I call this the snowflake tree.
Mom said that our yard and house used to be a construction site too and that being sad is ok and that it can be confusing to know what is right and wrong.
Today was the big Sig Sigma test. Kind of a mid-term test. Here I am getting ready to help. I rearranged my bandana to help with the brain power. It worked! Mom passed the test!
After that we went to the office. Mom had to work but I explored. Look at this awesome mouse pad I found!
I wanted to have a celebration when we got home! Mom said good idea let’s celebrate by doing some laundry.
Noooo, I said. Let’s watch a movie! Here we are all getting settled. Well, not everyone; it is me, Callie, Jimi and mom. Jimi does not get along with anyone else and the DVD player is in his room.
It’s showtime! The FBI warning is always so entertaining.
On Saturday me and Mom and Dixie went hiking at TIGER Mountain !!!!!! Tigers Rule!!!
Dogs are allowed there so Dixie got to come with us! YAY!
It was a super sunny day.
Dixie wanted to stop and smell the flowers.
Mostly we were walking on old logging roads. We probably saw more mountain bikers than hikers. About half the bikers were walking. It is a long way uphill.
We made it to the summit!
There are a whole bunch of radio towers at the summit.
On the way down we stopped at a viewpoint. This is not the summit but the view was actually better.
This next picture has nothing to do with the hike but I just have to show you. This rose bush in the back yard has gigantic flowers!
We’re going hiking today! Hooray!!!! Here we are at the rendezvous, unloading Mom’s stuff into Uncle Pete’s truck.
Ummm…am I the only one who has noticed that it is raining a lot? Mom did you bring a rain jacket for me?
There is still a lot of snow here! Wow!
Looking down on a beautiful frozen lake.
Here we are headed down into the canyon. There are lots of rivers and streams to cross.
After about an hour of precipitation and sogginess it stopped raining.
Me and Uncle Pete on the trail.
We saw lots and lots of scat (animal poop) and tracks. We saw bear poop! But no bears. They were probably scared of me. This picture is of a hoof print from an elk. Mom would not let me take a picture of the bear poop. It is ok for her to poke the poop with her hiking stick to see how fresh it is but it is not ok for me to take a picture of it.
Lunchtime! Uncle Pete always shares. He has better lunches than Mom and always brings yummy snacks.
The sun came out and it turned out to be a beautiful day!
We had dinner at a yummy restaurant. I LOVE restaurants! Uncle Pete let me help him with his dinner. He is much nicer than Mom.
We started out the week back in Six Sigma class. In case you do not know Six Sigma is about improving processes using statistical analysis. I can’t even spell statsicial; good think we have spell-check.
Mom had to leave the class to go do a presentation at work. I got to stay with Holly for a while.
Then Holly had to leave!! Here she is giving me a big hug. Holly is so awesome.
The next day at work Mom had a big group of people coming from all over the state and even Oregon and Idaho to attend a meeting she was having. She told me there would be food and it would be fun and like a party and that I could come!!!! Then she put me in her office and FORGOT about me ALL DAY! I did not get any of the snacks at the party! Luckily Mom left her computer on.
That night she fixed my bandana. It was too big so she did something to make it the right size for me. This is way better; before it was making my neck look fat. Also now Dixie has a matching bandana! It’s awesome! Now I forgive Mom for leaving me in her office all day.
Then the next day Mom took me to work with her again (she was still feeling guilty) and we got to go to a fun seminar about blood borne pathogens. That was great fun Janet the instructor was hilarious and also used to be a fire fighter and knows all about lots of stuff like the bubonic plague. Also she is gorgeous.
I got to play with the gloves.
Then that afternoon Mom’s friend Marc stopped by. He is a consultant and is SUPER smart. He has worked with Mom for years and years. Also he is handsome but not as handsome as me.
Then on Saturday I got to do errands with Mom. At the library I found a book about honey badgers. They are fierce!
Ewww yuck! I can’t believe this is a kid’s book!
After that we went to the Beauty Salon! I do not need any beauty treatments I am so handsome already we went because Mom needs help. This is Lindsey who cuts Mom’s hair. She is so nice and so beautiful!!! She is going to have a baby!! She let me kiss her tummy where the baby is living right now!
We came home and did yard work. I wish Mom would stop cutting the grass. Then I could play Savannah Grassland Tiger!
The roses are blooming!
Mom got me my very own red bandana!!!! Yay!!!!!
Now me and Dixie both have red bandanas!
Also there were two bandanas in the package – the other one has red flames on it – WOW! This is very lucky because Mom said she was going to take me with her to do errands and then she FORGOT and left me at home! But the bandanas totally make up for her FORETTING me. Sheesh!
Also we have some movies to watch that Mom got from the library. She went to the library without me !!!!! Because she FORGOT me!
Then Mom had to study. Borrrring. Me and Dixie helped until she told us to go outside and play.
We used the flame bandana and also played pine cone.
There are all kinds of pretty flowers in the yard. Dixie likes to look at them. Girls are like that ya know.
On Saturday night we went to Tuxes & Tails. This is a big fund raiser for the Seattle Humane Society. Here I am with a few hundred of my closest friends.
Everyone was so dressed up! Some people have to buy a tux or a tail but I have my own tail already. This is a picture of some of Mom’s friends, Thea and Rey. And me of course. Thea is so gorgeous she looks like a movie star! And Rey is very handsome. Not as handsome as me though.
Dinnertime!
Mmmm; this is the dinner of Mom’s friend Michelle. It looks yummier than Mom’s. Michelle is so beautiful! But Mom is so dumb she just takes pictures of the food! She did not get a picture of me with Michelle. Next time.
Oh yeah here I am posing with Mom.
Then on Sunday me and Dixie played in the yard while Mom mowed the lawn. Dixie let me wear her bandana!
ha ha! I tried it on all different ways.
It is my favorite color!!!! But is has Dixie’s name on it. It is hers not mine I was just borrowing it for the photo shoot.
