Today we went to the fantastic Chihuly Garden. Here I am with Allison who works there and is so beautiful and knows all about the amazing glass art.

While we were in the garden we heard an amazing saxophone playing.  Outside the garden was this handsome and fantastic very talented saxophone player!!

We had lunch at a restaurant I LOVE restaurants!  Mexican food yum YUM!

Also today we visited the EMP in Seattle! Dixie came with us! look at all the guitars!

Mainly what we wanted to see was the Hello Kitty exhibit. It was amazing!

There was even Hello Kitty T.P.! We should totally get some.

I met some new friends who are also Hello Kitty fans! They were all so beautiful and really nice. I bet they have lots of Hello Kitty stuff. Even more than me.

There was lots of other great stuff to do.  Here I am with a guitar that Jimi Hendrix played, and the one behind it belonged to Eric Clapton!  Guitar Gods!

There was an exhibit about Fantasy in books and film and there was a photo booth where you could become a character!!!!  I am The Trickster!  Ha ha ha!

There was another photo booth in the Horror exhibit where there were scary things and then when you screamed it took a photo!  The Scream Booth!

Oh  boy Oh boy today we visited the Boeing Future of Flight Center! We had so much fun!  There were some scientific exhibits that Auntie Darcy tried to explain.

Here we are playing airplane. I was the pilot and Taj was in charge of the control tower!

This is inside a real plane!!! Auntie Darcy is pretending to fly the plane ha ha ha!

We met the nicest man who worked at the center his name was Greg. He told us all kinds of interesting things and was super handsome but not quite as handsome as me.

We got to see the planes that carry big pieces of the 787 Dreamliner to the Everett plant. It was awesome these planes are gigantic!

After that we went to Pike Place Market. I have been there many times but it was all new for Taj.  Here we are at the gum wall.

We visited the fish market and here is Ryan with Taj. Ryan was really nice and really  handsome but not quite as handsome as me.

OMG this is so funny!!! Ryan threw Taj like they do at the fish market! HA ha HA!  It is hard to see but Taj is flying through the air! We added a yellow arrow so you can see. It was a super duper day!

Oh WOW mom just downloaded a fantastic photo from the Future of Flight Center!  Auntie Darcy and Mom got to go on a factory tour but Tigers were not allowed. But later we had this great photo taken and it looks like we were really there!!!

OMG last night the best thing happened!!  We went to the airport which is always exciting and we picked up Auntie Darcy!!!  Today we had so much fun!!  Here we are having lunch at a restaurant I LOVE restaurants!

Then we went to the library and Auntie Darcy read a storybook to me and Taj!

Here we are at Wal-Mart!  Auntie Darcy travelled a long way to come visit us. but also the most important thing she wanted to do was go to Wal-Mart.  It was a super great day!!  I am so HAPPY!!

We have been super busy doing things but mom keeps FORGETTING to take pictures.  For example today we had lunch with Cheryl. We brought a pasta salad and Cheryl brought cheese and fruit and some bread called a baguette. But mom FORGOT to take a picture of me with Cheryl having lunch!  All we have is a picture of the leftover pasta!

Here is a list of some of the things that have happened in the last week.

Mom was sick and stayed home from work for 2 days. We watched a lot of movies it was great!  A handsome telephone repairman came to our house to fix the landline phone, he was really nice. We got stopped by lots of trains driving to work and home again. Some handsome men from the gutter company came over and replaced a big section of gutter on the house that was leaking.  We went to see the orthopedic surgeon about mom’s elbow; this is the doctor who fixed mom’s broken wrist using a titanium fork to hold it together. The doctor said NO snowboarding. Mom has to get an MRI whatever that is. I hope I can go with her to get a picture.

And here I am with Michelle! Michelle is super nice and totally gorgeous!

We have been taking it easy all week so mom’s elbow will get better faster. Mostly we have been staying indoors and having inside adventures. The duck keeps growing!

Also we have been going for walks. One day just as we got home there was a tremendous hail storm! It looks like snow but it is hail!

Another day we walked through the new housing development near where we live. There are houses there now. I miss the birds and rabbits that used to live here.

The most exciting thing happened today! Mom checked the mailbox and there was a letter from Auntie Darcy!!!  It turned out to be a newspaper article about stuffed animals who go on travel adventures! They stay at nice hotels and everything! The article says that sometimes the people can’t go on a trip so they send their stuffed animal instead. That is a brilliant idea! This is supposed to be a blog about travelling HINT HINT.

Best of all the envelope came with the most awesome TIGER stamp!!

Yesterday we went to Stevens Pass to snowboard with our friend Pat!  Here we are almost there. It is a really beautiful ski area.

Mom said I should stay in the car at first and then she was having such a good time she FORGOT me until almost the end of the day. She was about to come get me for photos but on the way she fell and hit her elbow on some hard packed snow and it really hurt! She could not snowboard after that. She was way up on the mountain it was too far to walk so they called the ski patrol!!!  they bundled her up and she got to ride down in the ski patrol toboggan!!!  with the handsome ski patrol rescuer his name was Kregg. And I missed the whole thing!  Mom got to hang out in the ski patrol medical unit. she was kind of in shock and shivering real bad.  The ski patrol was awesome and took super good care of her.

The ski patrol doctor said her elbow might be broken or the ligament torn and possibly detached from the bone. Ouch. So today we went to urgent care and they took an x-ray. It is really good news! Nothing is broken and the ligament is probably fine!   It is really bruised and swollen but in a week mom should be feeling a lot better!  Yay!  Her arm is all wrapped up and in a sling. Me and Taj are helping to comfort mom. She is going to be ok!  I was scared.  I wish I had been there to get a picture of the toboggan ride.

We  have been waiting for the duck to hatch! It is taking forever.

Me and Taj thought we would help it along a little bit.  Mom said hey put that fork down you don’t want to hurt the little duck it will hatch when it is ready.

It took FOREVER!  Mom said oops she read the package wrong it takes 48 – 72 hours.  Finally tonight the duck started hatching more and you could see it!  The instructions said after that to change the water.

Look at it now!!!  Soon it will be swimming! We will need a bigger bowl!

This weekend we took Taj with us when we did errands. I showed her some of my favorite places!  Here we are at the office supply store.

Then we went to the pet supply store!  We needed a new cardboard scratcher because Tabitha threw up on the one we had. Twice!  Yuck!

After that we went to Fred Meyer. Mom said we could pick out a toy. I thought the nerf super shooter would be good but mom said to let Taj pick.

When we got home there was a rainbow!  that is special.

Here is the toy that Taj picked!  When you put the egg in water a duck hatches!

Mom says that according to the instructions it will take 24 to 48 hours for it to hatch.  I don’t know if I can wait that long!  mom says it is an exercise in patience.  Aaargghhh!

Today we took Taj snowboarding!  Taj is from India and had never seen snow before!!

We were supposed to meet our friend Pat but mom left the phone in the car, and both Pat and mom were wearing different colored jackets than usual so they did not find each other. Also it was very foggy again at Snoqualmie.

Here I am with Taj in the car. Everything is more fun with a friend! Her full name is Taj Sahira it means Jewel of the Mountain! You may have heard of the famous palace named Taj Mahal it means the Jewel or Crown of Palaces.

When we got home mom made a bandana for Taj!  And a new one for Dixie too!
