Auntie Darcy is HERE!

OMG the BEST thing EVER happened we went to the airport to pick up Auntie Darcy!!!  Hooray!  But her flight was delayed and it was too dark to take her picture at the airport.  Here we are the next day going SNOWBOARding YAY!!!!

Here we are riding with mom in the backpack!

Me and Lars Larson tried out mom’s board but it does not go as fast without mom.

ALSO we have a new water heater!  The old one quit working for good so Steven and Adam took away the old one and installed a brand new one that works great and is quiet too. They are both super handsome and are super nice too.

Water Heater Woes and a Turnbull Hike!

OMG our water heater conked out this week and we did not have hot water!  I am a Tiger but even I will admit that in the winter it is nice to have hot water to wash your paws. We want to give a big shout out to Austin and Adam from Gold Seal Plumbing who came and fixed the water heater! They were super nice and super handsome!

This weekend I wanted to show Lars Larson one of my favorite places which is the Turnbull Wildlife Refuge and we saw SWANS!  OMG!  We were good and did not chase. The picture below is of Lars Larson and the SWANS!

We saw all kinds of animal tracks in the snow like these TIGER tracks!  Mom says there are no wild Tigers here and those are not Tiger tracks.  She does not believe.

Lars Larson is a camoflazed snow TIGER! We had a great time!

Fun in the Snow!

We went for a walk in the woods near our house!  Luckily other people had been there before us the snow was deep!  Mom had her snow boots on but it was still difficult walking. Me and Lars Larson have big TIGER paws and we had a great time!

Lars Larson wanted you to see how cold it has been. Here are frozen icicles on a holly bush in our yard including some going sideways

Here is the temperature on the way to work one day and it got colder than 3 degrees but mom was driving on an icy freeway and she said stop taking pictures while I drive!

We helped Dino make a snow dinosaur! We used holly leaves for spines along its back and red holly berries for eyes!  and used food coloring to make it green!

Still Snowing!

Yup it is still snowing here, every day!  Here is a picture of one day’s worth of snow!

This is what the morning commute looks like for us most days.

At work we had Valentine’s Day with candy and cards with animal window clings!

We helped mom on the computer. I’m teaching Lars Larsen about the internet.

This weekend we went to one of my favorite places the Librerry!

Snow and more Snow!

Wow it has been snowing a lot!  People are out with snowblowers and snow shovels multiple times a day, clearing sidewalks and driveways in the neighborhood.

The snowplows have been coming through too!  We LOVE the plows!

Here is Lars Larson with another kind of plow that has a gate. This photo is with the gate up which pushes the snow to the side of the road.

Here the gate is down which the plow driver lowers when he passes a driveway. That way the plow still collects snow but does not dump it at the end of driveways. It is so awesome!  Otherwise everyone has to shovel all the plowed snow out of driveways.

After that we were able to drive around and do errands!  I wanted to take Lars Larson to the store it is one of my favorite things to do. We helped mom shop and pick out stuff!

A New Friend!!

This week we had to go to the Millwood Animal Clinic to pick up some special cat food.  Here I am with Melissa who was super helpful and is super beautiful, and Nate who is really nice and handsome but not quite as handsome as me.

At the grocery store while doing errands we met Brian who had free samples of these delicious apples!  They really were awesome tasting so we had Brian pick out some for us to buy. He was really nice and is super handsome but not as handsome as me.

We are fostering Acorn again!  the adoption did not work out. If anyone is looking to adopt a super cute dwarf kitten who has to be on a special diet let us know!

When we were at the animal shelter they had all kinds of exotic animals to adopt like an elephant and a fox and a toucan! You did not have to pay a fee or buy a license or fill out any paperwork!  All kinds of people were picking out all kinds of animals.

And OMG the most AMAZING thing is there was a TIGER!!!!  OMG!! We got him!  I’m so EXCITED!  His name is Lars Larson and he likes to eat Oreos and so his nickname is Oreo!  I can hardly wait to take him to all my favorite places!  OMG!

Car Repair and TIGER tracks!

This week we spent a lot of time at the Subaru car repair shop. We had to drop the car off there two days in a row which was awesome because they have fresh popped POPCORN!  in the customer lounge so we had popcorn for breakfast both days!  Here I am with Meghan who works in the office but sometimes fills in as a shuttle driver when it is busy. Meghan is super nice and beautiful and is keeping her eyes on the road!

Thus us Austin who took care of us and our car problems. He is very handsome and really nice and he took care of the car problem that has been annoying mom for two whole years!   I give Austin two paws up! That equals to two thumbs up for people.

Today while we were at the pet store we met Ron who recently lost his awesome cat Pepper (who died he did not get lost). Ron is not ready for another cat just yet but he likes to see who is available for adoption.  Ron is super handsome and really nice!

While filling the bird feeders in the back yard today we saw all kinds of animal tracks in the snow including TIGER tracks!  Mom says those are deer tracks there are no wild Tigers here and she got out our Animal Tracks Guide but I still think it is from a Tiger.

Kitten Checkup and Adoption!

This weekend the kittens had a checkup and got booster shots. Here is Acorn with Chris but not me because mom FORGOT me in the car! Chris is super nice and handsome and has worked at the shelter for eight years and loves animals!

Acorn was adopted that same day by Jenny the shelter manager!!  the shelter intakes over 10,000 animals a year! and of all of them Jenny fell in love with Acorn. But Jenny does not like getting her picture taken we have a shot of her hands holding Acorn. Plus a broom in the background good work mom. Jenny is super nice and really beautiful.

Then we took Lucky to an adoption event at a PetSmart! Here we are setting things up. Some kittens got adopted but not Lucky. She got to stay at the PetSmart after that in her own cubby! so other people can see her and when the right person comes they will adopt her. We miss having the kittens at home!  It is much quieter.

Here I am with Dennis who sets up and runs the adoption events. He is so handsome and is really nice. He made sure all the ladies had chairs to sit in.

And here I am with Dana who also does a great job running the adoption events. Dana is super gorgeous and is really nice and loves animals especially Tigers.

Foster Kitten Update!

The kittens have grown so much!  The mama cat Jewel and one kitten named Daisy have been adopted!  They got adopted right away when they went to a PetSmart adoption center.  We still have Acorn because it took a while for her to be big enough to get spayed and we have Lucky to keep her company. Here is a picture of Lucky.

Here are some pictures of Acorn. She is a dwarf kitten and has short legs and the most adorable face!   Everyone at the shelter says she is the cutest kitten ever!

This weekend when we went to the library we ran onto our friend Laurie and her sister Joyce!  Laurie works at the same company mom does Laurie works in the Engineering department!  Joyce is on the left holding me while Laurie is holding a bunch of books. They are both so beautiful and are super nice and they love libraries just like me!

Spinning Wheel! And a Hike

We went hiking at Turnbull!  It was cold and there was lots of frozen water.

Here is mom’s artsy shot of me on top of some ice with fun patterns.

Best of all!  After we left and drove home we got stopped by a train in Cheney!  I LOVE trains and for this one we got to sit a long time at the railroad crossing it was great!

Another day we went to the library and there was a demonstration of how to make yarn and how to use a spinning wheel!  It was fantastic!  Here I am with Monica who told us all about it.  She was super nice and beautiful and is an expert using the wheel!

Here I am wearing some yarn that Monica made and dyed cool colors!
