We have been getting Thunderstorms for days rolling through, with rain downpours and rivers of water in the streets. It hails a lot too !!Mom donated blood; here I am with Jarred who took care of her during the donation. He did a great job! He was super nice and is super handsome! He was very happy to get his photo taken with a Tiger. Our cell phone had a problem so we took it to the T-Mobile store. Georgee and Sonny fixed it!!! For free!!! It is working great now with the new SIM card. They were super helpful and are soooo beautiful !!! Here is our foster cat Coco she is getting much braver. Isn’t she pretty !?!She is very playful and loves toys. She likes to put the toys in the water bowl to drown them.We bought some new cat trees made locally by Ray’s Cat Condos! Ray was super helpful and so handsome and the cat trees are very good quality – I highly recommend!
First of all it is the middle of April and we are getting SNOW !!! Yippee! I think it is great but mom is not so excited. We went to a soap class to learn how to make goats milk soap. It was VERY interesting and a lot of fun! We met some really nice people who love to make soap, just like us!This is me with Tammy who taught the class! She is super nice and super beautiful and knows all about making soap and also all about goats! She raises goats !!!! OMG mom we should totally get some goats!!!!
It has been hard to read the news about Ukraine. Mom says even if it is sad it is important to know what is going on in the world and bear witness. I wanted to do something to show my support for the people (and Tigers) in Ukraine so mom made me a new bandana in the colors of the Ukraine flag. When we were at the store picking out fabric for the bandana we met Kay!! She was also carrying bolts of fabric in blue and yellow and she and mom starting talking and comparing fabric colors. We all agreed that the yellow color Kay had was the best and mom’s blue was the best so we ended up in line together and bought the same fabric! Kay is going to make some flags to hang where she lives. That is an awesome idea! Kay was super nice and super beautiful.Mom tried to figure out how to make a bandana for herself but decided instead to use the loom to make a sort of necktie. We happened to have yellow and blue yarn and the colors aren’t quite right but we are going to see how it turns out.Mom needed a haircut really badly and here I am with Paula at the Blue Harmony Salon! Paula was so nice and knowledgeable and totally gorgeous and the salon is really nice. Mom’s hair looks much better now!!
Lacey organized a surprise birthday party for David but after a while it was not a surprise so David was able to invite even more people to his surprise party. It was a windy chilly day so some people gathered around a heater outside to drink their cold beverages! Here we are in the basement playing ping pong! This game it was Emily and Warren on one team and David and Jeffrey on the other. Everyone had such a good time! It is nice to be able to get together again.David is an Engineer and is so good at designing and building things! Here is a slide he made for the kids inside the house! But adults and Tigers can use it too!OMG! The most amazing thing happened! Our friend Thuan at work GAVE us this robot! You mount it on a ping pong table and it shoots out balls at you so you can practice! It has settings for backspin and frontspin and everything! Now we have to get a ping pong table!!!
We went for a hike at the James Slavin conservation area! It was sunny but very windy I was glad to have my awesome red winter scarf. There were lots of people walking dogs and we even saw someone taking their miniature horse for a walk!Mom was having trouble with the camera and we had lots of photos of things like her hiking sticks laying on the ground. ha ha ha! Here is a mistake photo that turned out pretty good!
The dinosaurs are all ready for Easter. We were doing yardwork today and lots of people out walking stopped by to say how much they enjoy the dinos.
We had another nail in a tire last week! It was not patchable. This is the second time that happened in just a few years. Also the tires were too worn to just replace the one tire so we had to buy all 4 new tires, also for the second time in a few years! That made mom very growly. She FORGOT to get a photo when they put the new tires on so we took one in the garage at home.We went to the dentist so mom could have her teeth cleaned. Here I am with Jenn who did a great job and was super nice and is super beautiful!! We have a new foster cat!!! Her name is Coco. She is very shy and scared and hides in the carrier when we come in the room. Here is a photo of me with her carrier. We know she comes out when she is by herself; we can hear her moving around and she lays on some nice cat blankets we put out and she gets in the cat tree. I hope she learns to trust us.
It has been very cold! Here is the temperature one morning it was 3 degrees! Brrrr! It snowed one day and we had to shovel a lot. This is the road near work. Here are some icicles that formed on one of our holly bushes. Sometimes water from the roof gutter lands here and freezes! Holly bushes are pretty tough!OMG at work Rowan brought in cupcakes that she made!!! They are so beautifully made and super delicious I am sure but mom would not let me have one darn it all. Rowan is super gorgeous, super nice, and super smart. She is an Engineer!
For Valentine’s Day at work Kristi made cookies! But mom FORGOT me at home that day!!! So I am not in the picture. Mom says I do not have to be in every photo and that is true.Rowan also brought in some amazing home baked goodies for Valentine’s Day. Of all the days to leave me at home! Mom should remember to take me to work on all major holidays.Mom donated blood this weekend and here is Jessica who works at the donation center. Jessica is super beautiful and nice and she was also hilarious and kept mom laughing the whole time. The moose were in the greenbelt behind our house this morning and then later our neighbor Mitch knocked on the door to tell us the moose were across the street! They were practically ringing the doorbell at Jonathan’s house! Later they climbed up the hill and spent the day hanging out there.
OMG the most amazing thing happened!!!! We were doing shopping errands and were parked next to a family who had SNAKES with them and they were handling them! OMG! We chatted with them and they are amazing! They have a business educating people about snakes and this is me with Cody and a BALL PYTHON!!! They are native to Africa and are called ball pythons because when they are scared they tend to roll up into a ball. Mom says she likes that kind better than the kind that jump at you and bite you. I am a Tiger I was not scared. Wow we should totally get one of these but Mom said NO.It was sunny and above freezing this weekend so we went for a walk. A lot of snow has melted but the trails through the woods still have snow.We saw some animal tracks! These may be Tiger tracks! We did not see any snake tracks, it is too cold for snakes to be moving around outside, they must be hibernating. Mom says that’s good.
Here is the first scarf all finished! We learned a lot doing this and made lots of mistakes. Mom especially is good at making all kinds of mistakes.OMG!! then mom surprised me she made me a scarf of my very own!! This was the second scarf she weaved and she made it for me!!!! It is red my favorite color and she says the yarn came from France! Oh la la! I feel like I should have a beret too! I take back what I said about how she makes so many mistakes. Here is the one we are working on this weekend. We watched some videos of weaving and some weavers are amazing! One lady was weaving really intricately designed bath towels with many colors and beautiful designs. If someone gave you a hand-woven bath towel like that you would hang it on the wall, not use it to dry yourself off!
