Yesterday when we were leaving for work we discovered that the car had a flat tire!  It was not a little bit flat it was completely flat!  Here is the flat tire in the back of the car. Just next to my right ear is the screw that punctured the tire.

Mom got out the spare tire that she says is called a donut and got the flat tire off and the donut put on the car. She FORGOT to take pictures while we changed the tire!  I suggested that we take the flat tire out of the car, jack up the car, take the donut off, put the flat tire back on the car, remove the jack, put the tools back in the car and start all over and take pictures.  Mom said No.

Then we drove real slowly to the Subaru store so they could fix the tire. They had all kinds of refreshments while you wait like POPCORN from a cool popping machine.

We had to wait a long time because of the way the tire was damaged it could not be repaired so we needed to get all new tires. So we got to watch television while we waited! Yayyy!  It was a weird show. It was a lady celebrity who I don’t know who she was and she had guests on her show I don’t know who they were and they kept talking about each other and how good looking they are and a party they went to and I kept waiting for them to do something interesting like bring out a tiger or a moose and they never did. I don’t understand what the show was about. mom say that is why we don’t have television at home. But if we had television at home and we watched all the time we would probably know who all those celebrity people were. Here is a photo of everyone in the waiting area. All kinds of things have been happening in the neighborhood. Roger from next door injured both his shoulders and cannot do any more snow shoveling this season. So mom has been busy because it has been snowing all weekend. We shoveled Roger’s driveway, Randy’s driveway, and Maggie’s driveway. Maggie’s husband Phil is in the hospital! He has to have surgery on his heart tomorrow!

And today there were moose in the neighborhood!  One moose calf actually came down off the hill and trotted down the street!!!  This photo is looking out our window!

The mother moose is called a cow. She has an injured front leg!  She was holding it up and dragging it in the snow!  Oh no!  Mom and Joni talked on the phone and mom sent an email to our regional office of the state department of wildlife to let them know about it.  Then someone was walking their dog without a leash and the dog was bothering the cow moose and she had to try to run on three legs.  Mom yelled at the lady (the lady and her dog were far away that’s why she had to yell) to secure her dog and she did.  But I was sad after that. Worrying about the moose.  Mom says she is moving around pretty good and is eating so it may turn out ok.

Later we went for a walk in the woods. 

Here is the problem they are knocking down part of the forest to build more houses! And the wild animals like the moose don’t have as much wilderness anymore.

Oh Boy this weekend we went snowboarding at Silver Mountain!!  And this time I did not have to wait in the car mom brought me with her!!!  When we got in the gondola to ride up the mountain they gave us WARM CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES OMG!

Here I am at the top of the mountain there was a super view!   And it was a super sunny day. At first. Later it hailed and snowed!

Also  this weekend we went for a hike int he woods near our house and saw lots of animal tracks like this one. I do not think a tiger made this print.

We went to a new library too!  They had lots of fun things for a tiger to do.

On Saturday we went snowboarding at Mt. Spokane!  Well…mom went snowboarding while she left me in the car!!!  She was going to come get me after a while but the road to where the car was parked was very icy so she decided to just LEAVE me there. When she finally came back she brought me a pin for my bandanna!!!!  It says Mt. Spokane!  Also mom made me a new bandana it is a Hello Kitty bandana!  Yayyyyy!

Then on Sunday we went hiking at the Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge! 

It was a beautiful day and we saw lots of animal tracks and scat but we did not see very much wildlife.  Some cross country skiers told us they saw some swans but we didn’t.

Also last week we had lunch at Smacky’s with Margo! I love Margo she lets me help drive.

Oh Boy !  It snowed a ton over the last 30 hours we were snowed in at home!  Good thing it was Saturday!   Mom we spent HOURS shoveling snow. Then our awesome neighbor Roger who was away overnight  drove up and parked in Andrew’s driveway because it was cleared. Mom was very happy to see Roger. Roger got out his snowblower and helped mom us finish up our driveway, then they both went and finished clearing Randy’s property. Randy is in a wheelchair and earlier another neighbor got some of Randy’s driveway done but then it snowed some more. Then Phil and Maggie came out to start on their property and we had a good visit with Maggie she brought mom some good books to read. There was no sign of Gary so Jim snow blowed Gary’s driveway and sidewalk and mom we did part of the sidewalk there too. Then Gary showed up turns out he started on his back deck first. Also Jen’s dog Mo got out and ran up the street!  He was having a great time! He went into Jim’s garage and invited himself in to visit Jim’s dog. Ha ha that was funny. Shannon and his kids were out shoveling snow and he and mom had a long discussion about the state of the world.

Here I am with a closeup of the tail you can see we added special touches like tiger STRIPES. It was the best snow day ever! I hope it snows more tomorrow.

Oh Boy!  We had the BEST time this weekend!  We went on a ROAD TRIP!!!

We stopped in Thorp to go to the gigantic fruit stand that is open year round!  They had all kinds of great stuff for sale like ice cream and taffy and espresso.  All those things are exactly what a  Tiger needs in the car on a road trip! 

Here I am outside the store with Margo !!!  We are looking at a horse carriage. Margo is a super good friend and is really funny and totally gorgeous and also lets me help drive which Mom does not do.  Margo is my best friend. She lets me help drive the car.

This is when we were crossing the mighty Columbia River!

Here we are having lunch at a restaurant I LOVE restaurants!!  Margo let me sit at the table and look closely at the lunches. Salads!  I am a carnivore!

We did this road trip so we could pick up the last things at the old house like the lawnmower. Here we are saying goodbye to the house. It was a good house.

Our super awesome neighbor Joni sent photos she took of the moose that was in our yard yesterday!  I think Joni has a better camera than Mom.

OMG!!!  This morning we looked into the backyard and there was a giant MOOSE in our backyard !!!!!  She was laying down in the snow!!  IN OUR BACKYARD!!

After a little while she stood up and OMG she is so tall and huge!!  We called our awesome next door neighbors who had told us a few days ago there were moose sightings in the woods.  Mom called and told them that there was a Very Large Animal in our backyard ha ha ha!

Later after we were sure she was far away we went to see the big hole she left in the snow where she had been laying.  That is a Very Large Animal for sure!

This weekend we had chores and errands to do. First stop was the car wash. I LOVE the car wash!!  The car was really dirty we should have taken before and after photos.

Then we went to a salon for mom to get her hair cut. This is Neenah the stylist who did a great job and who is totally gorgeous and really nice! I hope we go back there!

Also this weekend we went to a new library!  Mom had to get a new library card to borrow things from the Spokane libraries.  It was a great library and I made some new friends.

We went for a long hike in the woods and it started snowing. I am a Tiger I love the snow.

It has been snowing since last night!  We went for a long walk in the woods where we live. First we had to find mom’s hiking boots, hiking socks, and gaiters (which were still in a box we had not unpacked yet). FINALLY after mom found all her stuff we went outside.

We saw animal tracks!  I do not think that this is a Tiger track. Mom says it is probably from a deer!  After that I kept a sharp eye out but did not see any wild deer, only tracks.

On the way to the woods we passed another snowman!  I am beginning to think that Spokane is the land of snow people.  This one has a creative use of tree branches.

Towards the end of our walk it really started snowing hard and the wind picked up.  Our neighbor Maggie came over yesterday and brought a beautiful card and a giant box of cookies so we don’t need to go anywhere for days! We are all set!
