Here I am with Jim who is super handsome and really nice.

And this is me with David who is also super handsome and nice and we share an office with him and have lots of fun. Great job everyone with your stripes!

Lee & Roger – We Will Miss You!

Our most awesome neighbors Lee and Roger are moving away it is TERRIBLE for us but they have bought a house in Arizona where it is warmer in the winter. They have been super great neighbors Lee is a fantastic cook and was always bringing over scrumptious snacks like homemade PIE !  Tigers love snacks especially pie. And Roger would snow-blow our driveway and sidewalks after every snowstorm, bring in our garbage cans, and several times a year did the edge trimming along our walkways. Lee is so beautiful and Roger is super handsome and they are both so talented.  Roger plays the saxaphone!  We will miss you a whole lot!  especially the snacks.

This weekend we have been experimenting with more silk dyeing.  The one on the left was dyed with maple leaves and rose petals and the one on the right we used onion skins, monarda petals, and little bits of strawberry and blueberry skins.

At work mom had a big meeting with a bunch of Engineers and brought Special snacks like Famous Amos cookies!  She wore her Grumpy Cat button and where it says NO she covered it with a small piece of Post-It that said YES for the meeting so that people would agree with whatever the meeting was about. haha that was funny!

I don’t know what the meeting was about because mom FORGOT me!!  and left me in her office while everyone had Famous Amos cookies!  except me because I was not there! Luckily she left her computer on so I was able to order some things from the Grumpy Cat website. It will be a fun surprise for mom when it arrives!

Tailgate Party! Whoo Hoo!

At work we had a Tailgate Party!! Everyone was invited, even if you did not have a tail. It means the tailgate of a truck!  ha ha ha!  Here is a view from above where you can see the trucks parked. There is a long line for the beer!  Mom did not get very many photos because she had to make announcements at different times and also had to referee the water balloon toss!  It was awesome fun!

Here are Scott and Erica handing out beverages.  I wanted a beer but mom said NO.

There was also a nacho bar with cheese!  Tigers LOVE cheese! And nachos!

Also last week it was very hot, Here I am in the car as we were leaving work one day and it was 102 degrees. Luckily I have my Tiger Summer Coat.

We Made Stuff!

We have been super busy this weekend!  First we stopped by the soap shop and got supplies.  Here I am with Karen who is super beautiful and fun!

At work our friend Jerry asked if we ever made Mango-smelling soap because his wife likes that. so we decided to give it a try!  It turned out great!  Look at these awesome colors!  Do they remind you of anyone? TIGERS are orange too!

Then the next day we went to a class on how to use plant materials to dye fabric!  We  used silk to make scarves.  Here we are deciding which plants to use and where to put them on the fabric. The one me and mom made is on the right in the photo.

Here it is after it was all done!  Our scarf is the front left one that I am right in front of. It’s amazing how the different plants dye the fabric different colors. Totally cool !!

Dental Visit

Last week mom had to have her teeth cleaned and afterwards I got to sit in the chair and cuddle with Diana who is totally gorgeous and super nice and does a great job!!! She let me wear a mask that I got to keep!  I LOVE Diana!

Then this weekend while we were at the library we saw this cool car outside!  We should get a car like this it would be fun to drive. It had no doors!  Yeehaw!

Mt. Spokane Hike

We went hiking at Mt. Spokane!  Here I am at the TOP of the mountain!  outside Vista House which is built with the rocks from the top of the mountain.

At lunch a chipmunk came to visit us!  I think this is the same spot where we were overrun by chipmunks last time we were here.

Here is the view we had while we ate lunch and fought off hungry chipmunks.

There were lots and lots of wildflowers and butterflies on the trail!

After the hike we went to pick cherries!  Yum!  Tigers LOVE cherries!

My Own Poem !!!! OMG !!!

Today we went to the Terrain Bazaar Art Festival in downtown Spokane!

At the Bazaar we met Devin and Tiffany!  The most amazing thing happened ! Here I am with Devin who writes poems and she wrote a poem all about ME!!!!

Here she is writing the poem. I am so excited!!! Devin is a great poet and gorgeous too.

Then Tiffany painted the poem!  Tiffany said she was happy to use Tiger colors in the painting! She was so nice and is super beautiful.

Here I am at home with the poem so you can see it and read it!!!  It is so amazing!  Devin met me for the first time today but she totally described me in the poem.  My very own poem!!! It is all about me it was an awesome day!

Spokane River!

During the week we went to see a new doctor at a new clinic and here I am with Jennifer the nurse who took mom’s blood pressure. She was super nice and gorgeous!  We like the new doctor a lot but did not get a picture. The new doctor told us that the clinic has a psychiatrist on staff who likes to meet new patients and mom told me later she decided this visit might not be a good time to introduce me. I don’t know why not.

Then this weekend we went to a park where we walked over this suspension bridge!

Here we are crossing the bridge.  I asked mom to hold on tight to me!  I am a Tiger I was not scared. No I was not!  but wanted mom to feel more secure by holding me.

Dixie came on the hike with us!  The path was along the Spokane River.

Then later we went downtown and walked along the river again and met Paul who has a fantastic contraption of giant magnets on a thick rope and he tosses it in the river and almost every time pulls up some interesting metal objects from the river. He was very interesting and super handsome and here I am with him and his friend Joah who is also very handsome but not quite as handsome as me.

OMG and here I am with the Garbage Goat!!!  This is so totally cool! You push a button that activates a giant vacuum and the goat slurps down garbage!!!  It was awesome!

There is a merry-go-round downtown too and it has a TIGER!!!!  Mom bought me a ticket so I could ride on it !!!!!  It was super fantastic what a great day we had!

Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream – Not!

At work one day last week there was ice cream!  A Ben & Jerry’s ice cream truck came and parked for an hour and everyone could have as many scoops as they wanted but mom FORGOT and LEFT ME at home that day!  mom got two scoops and ate it all  herself and did not save any to bring home to me she FORGOT all about me!

Luckily that day there was a package of goodies in the mail from Auntie Darcy and Nicoyln !!!  We got cat socks and a hula cat ornament and a Hello Kitty sticker and lots more stuff!  And super yummy cookies with chocolate on them!  It was the best care package ever!  Auntie Darcy would never FORGET me on ice cream day.

Then this weekend we went for a hike to see wildflowers!

Art Festival !!!

We went to an Art Festival this weekend!  It was a super sunny day!

There was all kinds of great music too. We had a really fun day!

This is Rik who makes awesome fish and other things like mermaids out of bottle caps!  He was really nice and super handsome!  But not as handsome as me.

Look at how totally awesome my button pin is!!!  It is a TIGER! I drew it all by myself and mom helped a little bit but it was totally my idea and I picked the colors!
