Kitten Update!

The kittens are growing so fast and getting so big!  They got their booster shots and we found out they are all girls!  Here I am with Daisy and Lucky. Everything is a toy to them.

The littlest kitten is named Acorn and she is attacking me! Ha ha ha!

At work we wrapped up the big phone project by cleaning up all the empty boxes and sending them to the box crusher!  Only special employees can run the box crusher and mom did not even allow me to watch.  Here I am helping David load some boxes onto carts to take to the crusher.  Mom always says that I am a BIG help!

We also took apart all the phone equipment and put it in separate boxes. There were about a thousand handsets and I love to play with the curly handset cables!

Now Phone Installation!!

Oh Boy!  At work we had a big project to replace every phone (over 100!) and headsets too!  Here I am with KevinC, KevinW, and Jerry unpacking and assembling the phones.  They are all highly experienced professional mechanical assemblers who normally work on large complicated machines but we enlisted their help and they did awesome!  They were also very funny and are all very handsome but not as handsome as me.

Here I am with Matt who came out from the corporate office in St. Louis to help with the project!  Matt is super smart and handsome and lots of fun. He is also a zoologist and used to work in a zoo and knows all about animals especially REPTILES!  He knows all about snakes especially VIPERS. He knows a lot about Tigers too, OF COURSE.

The best thing and the most important thing about big projects is to have lots of snacks. We also got meals from restaurants while we worked!  I LOVE restaurants!

Here is a photo of just a small part of the phones and equipment that got replaced. It was a lot of work to get ready for the project, unpack and assemble the new phones, put out the new equipment, swap it with the old equipment after everyone left for the day, program all the phones, and bring back the old equipment. I was tired! Great job everyone it was a TEAM effort!  Mom says I was a big help!

!! KITTENS !!

OMG we are fostering a Momma Cat and her kittens! This is the mom cat she is really soft and is doing a good job with the kittens. We named her Jewel.

She has three kittens! It is really hard to get a good picture of them because they want to play all the time and they move so fast!  The kittens are all different sizes. Lucky is the biggest one he is gray and white. Daisy is the medium-sized one and she is multi colored like her mom. The littlest one is less than half the size of the others! The shelter thinks he may be a dwarf. He is a really sweet cat and plays and wrestles with his siblings but also loves to sit in mom’s lap. Lucky likes to climb onto mom’s shoulder!

Here is a picture of the littlest kitten!

Also!  We had lunch with our awesome friend Maggie! Maggie used to live across the street from us but she and her husband moved and now we don’t see her as often. Maggie is gorgeous and smart and lots of fun I miss seeing her all the time.

More Monterey Fun!

We visited a famous church, the Carmel Mission Basilica. The stone church was originally built in 1795!  and remodeled starting in 1817. It was lovely and peaceful.

We went to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary! But it was too cold for the butterflies to be out flying so they cluster together high in the trees. We did see one on a pathway!

We visited Old Capitol Books!  This is me with Ali who owns the bookstore and was super helpful as well as handsome. He is pulling my tail ha ha ha! Ali is very brave.

We went to a farmers market!  Look at these beautiful vegetables!

OMG these tomatoes are amazing! do the colors remind you of anyone they are Tiger colors!  Back home in Spokane our tomatoes froze weeks ago.

On our last day we had breakfast at a restaurant called Toasties Cafe here are the most awesome waitresses Kamila and Karla! They are super nice and beautiful!

Then we walked to the beach one more time. It was a super duper trip!

Trip to Big Sur!

One day of our Monterey trip we drove along Highway 1 and stopped at a bunch of state parks! First we stopped by the breakfast room at the motel we were staying at for bananas and muffins. Here I am with Maria who takes care of guests in the breakfast room and is so nice and super beautiful. She and mom talked about books they like to read while I picked out snacks. Having lots of snacks is very important on a road trip.

Our first park was Andrew Molera state park and we walked along the Big Sur River.

We also stopped along the highway for scenic pictures of the rugged coast.

Next was Big Sur state park! It is hard to get a good photo to show how big the Redwood trees are. The Redwoods at Big Sur can reach 250 feet tall but the ones along California’s North coast can be 350 feet tall because they get more water.

We hiked the Valley View Trail and met Kimi and her Mom Shiv. They traveled all the way from Singapore!  They were both really nice and gorgeous.

After hiking we went to the Big Sur Lodge and I got a Big Sur pin!  Mom thought a pin with a tree on it would be good but I wanted the one shaped like a shark!  It is red my favorite color and you can also see my Monterey pin that has a sea otter! on it!  I got it at a Monterey gift shop I LOVE gift shops!

Then we went to Point Lobos state park and walked the trails along the coast.  We saw sea lions and more sea otters!  Through viewing scopes that some volunteers had.

When we got back to the car there was a seagull on it ha ha!  They did not seem very scared of me they probably had never seen a Tiger before.

Monterey Bay Aquarium !

Oh Boy Oh Boy we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium it was awesome!  First we met Timothy outside who was so handsome and nice and gave us all kinds of advice about our visit to the Aquarium. There is so much to do there!

They have sea otters !!!! OMG !!!!!  They are the best animals ever!  After Tigers.

They have PENGUINS!!!!  OMG !!  I LOVE PENGUINS!

Here I am with a leopard shark I was not scared I am a Tiger.

Here is a picture of me with some eels. Okay now I am a little bit scared.

Part of the aquarium is the viewing decks to the Monterey Coast! This is me with Zach who is from Santa Cruz but got his marine biology degree at UH Hilo which is where Auntie Darcy works!  Zach is super handsome and really nice and smart.

From the deck we saw wild sea otters!  and Risso’s dolphins jumping!

There were so many fantastic things to see and do at the aquarium but mom says I can only post one more picture so here is one of a jellyfish it is so beautiful!

A Trip to Monterey!!!!!!!

OMG !!! Mom packed a backpack and my satchel and we went to the airport !!! Yay!  I LOVE going to the airport!  We flew on a plane from one airport to another and while we were there we met Jason, Kenton, and Andre who play basketball for the Southern Utah Thunderbirds!!   Andre said TIGERS are his favorite animal!!  They were really nice and super handsome. Mom we should visit Utah and go to a Thunderbirds game.

Then on the next plane we sat next to Stacy who was travelling for her job. She was super nice and super beautiful we had a good time talking with her.

OMG here we are in Monterey! Sandy beaches and beautiful water but too cold for swimming. I am a Tiger I was not afraid to go in the water but mom said NO.

Here we are visiting the iconic Cannery Row area. We explored all over and used the walkway that you see behind me to cross the street!  Monterey used to have a big fishing fleet to catch sardines and cook and can them; I bet that smelled good!

It SNOWED!

OMG it SNOWED !!!!! Yayyyy!!! Taj and me and Dixie had a snowball fight in the yard!!

Another great thing happened this week which is we went to the dentist!  Here Diana is showing me a giant tooth that has gingivitis!  Diane is so beautiful and is really really nice and smart too. The funniest thing happened!  After mom took this picture Diana put me on the counter where the tooth belongs and was going to hand mom the tooth!!!  Ha ha ha I could have stayed with Diana which would have been awesome and mom would have carried around a tooth in my satchel all day!

Then at work there was a big party for Veterans Day with lots of yummy food.

Here I am with Austin who works in Part Sales and is super handsome. He is not letting me anywhere near his plate of food. My reputation must be known I am a Tiger!.

Halloween and Block Party!

Oh Boy I love Halloween!  We had over 80 Trick-Or-Treaters this year and we ran out of candy! Mom said hey this bag was supposed to have 100 pieces in it where did the rest go?  It is a mystery. Also Mom FORGOT to take pictures but we did get one picture of a kid in a costume like one of those air dancers at used car lots!

Our neighbors had great decorations! I am a Tiger I was not scared.

Our awesome neighbors Aaron and Becky had a party in their driveway this weekend with a portable fire pit ! Aaron was handing out wine and beer but mom said NO. Becky was handing out juice boxes so I got that instead!

Potluck!

Oh Boy!  At work we had a potluck lunch with everyone on the third floor and it was awesome!  There was all kinds of delicious food and yummy desserts!  We all had a great time but mom FORGOT to take pictures until it was all over!  Here I am with the last of the peanut butter brownies and the hot cheesy dip.

In the afternoon I got to help Chad. This is me with Chad and some of his 18 monitors. He has to take care of equipment in the Netherlands and Romania as well as our site in Spokane so he is very busy all the time.  Chad is super smart and handsome!

Mom also FORGOT to take me with her when she donated blood (she forgets to take me ever since the time I went with her and ate all the cookies in the canteen afterwards) and she FORGOT to take pictures at our first shift volunteering at the animal shelter. Mom said sorry and I could pick out something at the store to make up for it!!  But she did not like any of my ideas she said NO to all my great suggestions.

But then at the store we saw one of favorite cashiers Soren! Soren is super handsome and is really smart. One time he told us all about crucifeus vegetables. Whatever that is.
