Visit to Museum!

One day last week was Pretzel Day!  David brought bags of pretzels and giant frozen pretzels that we heated up in the microwave it was awesome!!

David, who is in charge of the daily announcement for the IT office, was sick one day so mom had to decide what to announce and also make the sign. ha ha!

This weekend we went to the NW Museum of Arts and Culture. First we walked through the Campbell House which was built in 1898. Here is a picture of the outside.

This is the kitchen. It would be a lot of work to cook with this. No microwave pretzels!

Here I am with Amanda one of the guides on the second floor.  She was really nice and totally gorgeous!  The people who lived here were very fond of bright wallpaper.

Then we visited the exhibits at the museum.  This is my favorite piece because it has TIGER colors!  It is part of a Chihuly glass exhibit and all the exhibits were great!

We met a nice lady named Diane at the museum! She was visiting from Chewelah and was super beautiful. She totally understood about my blog. It was a great day!

National Cheese Ball Day!

At work David has a small whiteboard for important announcements. Last week it was National Cheese Ball Day! and we had an AWESOME  container of cheese balls!

Also at work one day there was a party at our newest facility!

This weekend we took Leo to an adoption event at North 40 Outfitters which is a really cool store! They have pet supplies and clothes and plumbing stuff and tools and lots more! One of the cats at the event was adopted and a dog got adopted too!

We went to visit Merissa and Acorn!!!!  Merissa took over fostering Acorn and then adopted her!!! Now Acorn’s name is Squirrel!  She is doing great and is really happy and has cats and a dog to play with. Merissa is super nice and super beautiful too!

Food For Fines!

Every so often at the library they have Food For Fines and people who have fines (like mom!!) for returning books late can bring cans of food for their fines to be forgiven!  Mom says it is such a great idea that to encourage this program we don’t pay our fines and wait to bring cans of food instead.  We also donated cans of pet food to SCRAPS but mom FORGOT to take photos of that. Anyone in need can get pet food from the SCRAPS pet food bank.  It is wonderful!

Speaking of SCRAPS our foster cat Leo is still looking for a forever home. He is a senior and that makes it harder for him to find a home. But we love having him stay with us he is a great cat very friendly and very handsome. So if anyone out there knows someone looking for a great companion cat let us know!

This weekend mom got her hair cut by Nicole who does such a great job and she is super nice and super beautiful va va voom!

Painting with Joni!

At work I had so much fun!  I got to ride around in a cart and help mom!  She is always saying what a big help I am!  Here I am in one of the weld shops.

Here I am with Tony in the electrical panel shop where the electricians make enormous electrical panels. Tony is super nice and handsome and really likes TIGERS. Of course.

Mom says Don’t Even Think About Touching Any Of Those Wires.

Also at work it was David’s birthday and we had cupcakes!!!  They were left over from his daughters birthday which is why they look so girly. They were still delicious.

Then this weekend we went to Joni’s house for a Painting Party! Joni is a professional artist and has been painting a series of dogs that live in the neighborhood. So we were invited over to paint dogs or in our case cats! Here I am with Betsy, Joni, and Kitty. They were so beautiful and so much fun! That is mom’s painting of Kosha one of our cats.

The next day Joni came to our house to help us make soap! Here she is showing off her great stirring technique!  Joni is super nice and gorgeous. I had a great week!

Pet Expo!

We went to the Spokane Pet Expo! Our foster cat Leo was there for potential adopters to meet him and lots of people asked about him and said how handsome he is but no one adopted him. That is okay we are happy to have home back home with us!  It was crazy busy at the expo there must have been thousands of people!

Here I am with our friend Christy who volunteers at SCRAPS!  She is really super nice and super beautiful and she fosters cats too just like we do!

There was a one-month old calf at the expo! He was adorable!

Here is Lars Larson at the NW Tortoise Rescue exhibit. Tortoises can live more than 50 years!  It is sad that some people do not know how to care for them properly. It is the same thing with Tigers. Owning an exotic animal is a big responsibility.

Here I am with a reticulated python!  Mom got to touch it. I am a Tiger I was not afraid. The python looked like it had metallic glitter on it!  It was amazing!

Mom got me a NW Tortoise Rescue pin to wear!  It was a great day!

Origami!

We went to the librerry and there was a super duper display of origami!  The sign said we could take one of the little cranes for good luck so I picked out an orange one!

Also this week we got to go to the dentist!  YAY! I love Diana who cleans our teeth and here I am with her and Yelena.  They are both so beautiful and really nice. Lars Larson had never been to the dentist before and he found it all quite interesting.

Best of all at work this week Jamie brought in one of his dogs! His name is Brian and he can sit, lay down, roll over, shake paws, and jump up into Jaime’s arms! Mom says that dog is better trained then I am!  Ha ha !

Week of Snowboarding!

Oh BOY!  We went snowboarding almost every day for more than a week except one day when we had a dinner party and mom FORGOT to take photos and another day where we went shopping to places Auntie Darcy wanted to go like REI and mom FORGOT to take photos. Here we are on the way to 49 Degrees North!

Here we are riding through the forest on powder!  Look out for that tree mom!

This is Lars Larson riding with mom at Mt Spokane on a super sunny day!

Here I am with Jessica and Christine at the Rocket Bakery where we stopped for snacks one day. They were both super nice and gorgeous! Having good snacks is the most important thing of all.

Me and Lars are riding with mom in this picture!  Yayyy!

It was good to come home after a long day on the slopes and have dinner and Auntie Darcy would read us a book. We like books about TIGERS best!

Auntie Darcy is HERE!

OMG the BEST thing EVER happened we went to the airport to pick up Auntie Darcy!!!  Hooray!  But her flight was delayed and it was too dark to take her picture at the airport.  Here we are the next day going SNOWBOARding YAY!!!!

Here we are riding with mom in the backpack!

Me and Lars Larson tried out mom’s board but it does not go as fast without mom.

ALSO we have a new water heater!  The old one quit working for good so Steven and Adam took away the old one and installed a brand new one that works great and is quiet too. They are both super handsome and are super nice too.

Water Heater Woes and a Turnbull Hike!

OMG our water heater conked out this week and we did not have hot water!  I am a Tiger but even I will admit that in the winter it is nice to have hot water to wash your paws. We want to give a big shout out to Austin and Adam from Gold Seal Plumbing who came and fixed the water heater! They were super nice and super handsome!

This weekend I wanted to show Lars Larson one of my favorite places which is the Turnbull Wildlife Refuge and we saw SWANS!  OMG!  We were good and did not chase. The picture below is of Lars Larson and the SWANS!

We saw all kinds of animal tracks in the snow like these TIGER tracks!  Mom says there are no wild Tigers here and those are not Tiger tracks.  She does not believe.

Lars Larson is a camoflazed snow TIGER! We had a great time!

Fun in the Snow!

We went for a walk in the woods near our house!  Luckily other people had been there before us the snow was deep!  Mom had her snow boots on but it was still difficult walking. Me and Lars Larson have big TIGER paws and we had a great time!

Lars Larson wanted you to see how cold it has been. Here are frozen icicles on a holly bush in our yard including some going sideways

Here is the temperature on the way to work one day and it got colder than 3 degrees but mom was driving on an icy freeway and she said stop taking pictures while I drive!

We helped Dino make a snow dinosaur! We used holly leaves for spines along its back and red holly berries for eyes!  and used food coloring to make it green!
