Well. Fixing a broken cabinet hinge turned out to be quite the adventure. It was the cabinet door that we use 100 times a day, the one under the sink. So we cleverly borrowed the hinge from a cabinet we almost never use, which took a while because it did not want to be removed! Then we had to find a replacement for that cabinet and guess what there are none of the right kind in the local hardware stores. So we looked online and guess what they don’t make the exact kind we have anymore. We ordered one that looked like it would work and it took forever to get delivered. Then guess what it did not fit or attach the same way, but we figured out how to use part of the old hinge with part of the new hinge and it is working! We were glad to cross that off the To-Do list! Here is our foster cat Yasmine looking adorable. She is getting braver about exploring. We put out bowls of dog water when the weather gets warm and one day when we came home someone had left a thank you note from their dog Dasher. I love this neighborhood!
