Art Festival!

It has been very cold and very foggy in the mornings. There is so much fog that the moisture freezes on all the plants and makes interesting designs like this shrub.

We went to an Arts Festival and went SHOPPING!  Mom does not normally like to shop I do not know why. We even went to Fred Meyer and stocked up on things like cereal and kitty litter and mom says this way we won’t have to go there again until January. Anyway at the arts festival we bought a cool hat from Leslie who makes hats from reclaimed fabric we have other hats that she has made they are great! Sweater Heads is the name of her business. Leslie is really nice and super beautiful and fun.

Here I am with Chrissy and John who sell wonderful catnip pillows in fun fabric that our cats go bonkers for. They are really nice and love Tigers and Chrissy is gorgeous and John is very handsome but not quite as handsome as me.

Mom also bought a fun hat from Juaquetta who spins her own yard, dyes it herself and then knits amazing hats and scarves and sweaters. She was really nice and beautiful and told us that she made the hat while in Glacier Park on a rainy day.

Also I want to give a shout out to Bill from Falco who came and did some maintenance on our furnace and our fireplace which are working great now. He was really knowledgeable and very handsome and answered all mom’s silly questions.

A Hike at Q’emiln!

We went for a hike somewhere new! We drove over the state line to Post Falls in Idaho (Famous Potatoes) and went to Q’emiln Park. Q’emiln is a native word that means throat of the river and is pronounced Ka-Mee-Lin. It was beautiful there!

There were cliffs for rock climbing and a big park to run around in and a boat ramp to the Spokane River and dog walkers and lots and lots of trails for us to explore.

There is a dam there used for hydroelectic power! The water level is so low right now that all the water is on the other side of the dam and none is on this side! No power being generated until spring probably. It was a great day!

Folk Festival!

We had so much fun this weekend!  We went to the Fall Folk Festival it was great!  There were so many great bands playing and there were musicians set up in auditoriums and hallways and under stairs and it was packed with people!

Here we are listening to Musha Marimba, music from Zimbabwe. The musicians are high school students they were amazing and had so much energy it was awesome!

Also this weekend mom needed some kind of hand cream for the winter so we went to the Body Shop and they said hey it’s the Tiger lady and everyone wanted their picture with me! mom FORGOT to get all their names but they were all really nice and very gorgeous!   I am a Tiger I do not need hand lotion but mom has delicate paws.

New Glasses and Shoes !

Oh Boy! We picked up mom’s new glasses from Lenscrafters and got to meet Allison who got the glasses fitted just right and was super nice and beauuutiful!

While we were at the mall we went Shoe Shopping!  Mom got some new shoes for work and this is me with LaRae who who was really helpful and gorgeous! I am a Tiger I do not wear shoes but I understand about tender footed humans and socks and such.

Also this weekend is the end of Daylight Saving Time for this year. I am a TIGER!  I do not live by the clock!  My wild relatives live in and rule the jungle, the savannah, the grasslands, and even rain forests. I do not worry about the time.  but I DO like to know when mom will be getting up to serve breakfast!
