Blue Shirt Friday!

This Friday was blue shirt day at work but mom FORGOT to get out one of my blue bandannas!!! Sheesh!   Here I am with Cody who is super nice and handsome.

And this is me with Peggy who is so beautiful and really nice and organized and she keeps the sales department running. I bet she would never forget my blue bandanna.

Also something super exciting happened at work!  Steve brought his dog Maya to work! She is a white golden retriever!  Here she is giving me a kiss!

Another exciting thing that happened is that mom took the car in for an oil change but she FORGOT me at home!!!  She knows that I love going to the place where they change the car oil and also we get to ride in a shuttle to work and take pictures while we ride around and this time mom got to ride all over Spokane in the shuttle before they dropped her at work and I missed the whole thing because she FORGOT me.  Here I am in a blue bandanna with white stars thanks mom even though it is a little late.

Little Spokane River Hike!

This weekend we went for a hike along the Little Spokane River. It is the end of summer but along the banks of the river everything is green and lush!

The first part of the trail parallels the river which meanders a lot and at times we got to be right next to the beautiful peaceful water.

Then we hiked up up up a switchback trail up to the top of granite cliffs for a view of the area including the Spokane River which the Little Spokane River joins. A great hike!

Visit From Sharon!!!

Our friend Sharon came to visit and stay with us and she brought cookies yayyyyy!  She also made enchiladas for dinner but mom FORGOT to get a picture.  Sharon is an awesome cook and is super nice and beautiful. Here we are hiking at Mt. Spokane!

This is me with some gorgeous ladies we met at the summit their names are Ginny and Jane. They are sisters and were excited to meet me and hear about my adventures.

We also went to Green Bluff to visit fruit farms!  At Walter’s Fruit Ranch we got to ride to the orchard in a cart pulled by a tractor!!!  OMG it was so great!

This is me with Daniel who got to drive the tractor he is so handsome!

Then we went to another farm where they were making PUMPKIN DONUTS!! OMG!!  Here is a photo of me with Lane who was making the PUMPKIN DONUTS!!!  Lane is very handsome and he told us he likes to travel just like me! He is holding a DONUT!!

Then we stopped at White Gables Orchard and met Ken who gave us samples of the apples he grows. Ken is super handsome and knows all about apples!

The next day we went to the Finch Arboretum!  This is me with Sharon!

After that we went to downtown Spokane and played on the giant Red Wagon!  It is so gigantic you can barely see me and Sharon peeking over the side!

We rode the gondola over the Spokane Falls !!!!  OMG!!!  I was not scared I am a Tiger.

We went to see the garbage goat it is one of my favorite things in Spokane!  Sharon did not know what it was so we had to explain it and show her how it works!

Also we went to a funny store called Boo Radley and mom got me some new buttons to wear on my bandana!!  This is me with Classic Dave and Sean who are both so handsome. I am wearing my new buttons in the picture!  it was an epic weekend!

Corvette !!!!

OMG at work mom got to drive a company car that is a Corvette! We have the car for an annual leadership award event and mom is on the committee that is organizing everything which is why she gets to drive the car to get it washed!

Here we are driving !!!!!!!  OMG we totally should get one of these!!!

This is the awesome crew that washed the car!  In case you did not know Corvettes have a low clearance and should not go through an automated car wash they should be carefully washed by hand. This is me with Ron and John they are so handsome and did a great job!  Part of the service is cleaning the interior and getting a fragrance spritzed inside!  mom asked Ron what his favorite flavor was and he said mango!  So that’s what we got! Now the car smells like mango it’s so cool.

Here I am with Aubrey!  who runs the office at Platinum Shine Mobile Detailing where we got the car washed. She is super beautiful and really nice.

They have magazines to read while you wait. I did not know there was such a thing as a magazine about car washing.

New Refrigerator !!!

Yipeee!  The new refrigerator arrived this week!  Here is the awesome crew that brought it in the house and took away the old one. From left to right it is Devin (nickname Dudley), Sam, Me!, Josh, and Mark (nickname Whitebread). They are all so handsome and were super nice and funny and did a great job.

Here I am with the new refrigerator!  It is great to have a refrigerator and freezer again!

This is another shot of the crew with their truck you can see that we bought the refrigerator at Fred’s Appliance. It would be fun to drive a truck like this!

Sherman Pass Hike!! And refrigerator woes

On Saturday we did errands and when we got back from the grocery store I noticed that the freezer was not very cold. Mom looked at it and the fridge was not cold either. The compressor had conked out! A domestic disaster! So we went back to the store and bought ice, got out the ice chests, and put all the fridge and freezer stuff on ice. Then we went the appliance store to buy a new refrigerator!  Here I am with Zach who sold us this great fridge!  Zach was super helpful and is very handsome. Mom says fridges cost more than they used too but the one I picked out was on sale.

The on Sunday we went hiking with our friend Ed! Here I am riding in Ed’s pack!

There is still wildfire smoke but it is getting better. It was a beautiful sunny day!

Here is a picture of me with Ed taking a picture. Mom says that sometimes people like to take pictures without Tigers in the photo. Very puzzling.

We hiked a long way and finally got to Snow Peak Cabin! It is a totally awesome and cute cabin! You can barely see me in the photo I am on the bench next to the door.

This is inside the cabin it is stocked with dishes and mugs and a first aid kit and a dish towel and a coffee pot and a cookstove and cots to sleep on. People (and Tigers) can rent the cabin and stay overnight even in the winter!

Here I am with Ed who is super handsome and really nice we are making sure everyone reads the sign which says No Peeing Off The Porch!  ha ha ha!

The hike started at Sherman Pass which is the highest pass in WA state.

Afterwards we went to the town of Republic and went to Republic Brewing where they make their own BEER!  Me and mom had ROOT BEER it was awesome!

On the way home we noticed that the town’s school team name is the TIGERS! It was a super fun day and I’m glad it is a long weekend so I can rest up.
