Today we went for a walk. It is getting colder and it is raining a lot but we needed to get out and get some exercise!  We passed the most awesome house! Ha ha ha look they must have 100 rubber ducks in their yard!!! 1000 rubber ducks! 1000000 rubber ducks!

They had lots and lots of other cool stuff!

Then when we got home mom had a special surprise for me OMG it is the best ever Halloween costume!!!!

Here is the back side I am a bumble bee!!!!! Bzz Bzz Bzz!  There are wings and everything!   This way I will not scare trick-or-treaters when they come to the door. I love my costume!!!   I am going to wear it all the time!

At work there was another big meeting that was like a party with people from all over and Mom said I could come get my picture and meet people and have snacks but then she FORGOT me!  I spent all day in her office by myself!  I found mom’s candy stash and ate it all.

Also I found lots of websites for Lady Tigers!!!

Me and Mom went for a walk in the neighborhood to look at all the Halloween decorations.  I can hardly wait for Halloween!!!

I have not been on a walk in a while because now that her foot is so much  better mom has started jogging on her walks. She calls it jogging. But I have seen and it is more like plodding. I can run faster than that!  But Mom says she needs a way to keep me with her while she jogs Just In Case and the satchel won’t work.

Uh oh. The Captain Kitty pumpkin had a meltdown.  Mom said she warned me that carving it too soon might cause it to get soft and moldy. (She did not, that is not true). We had to put it outside on the deck.

So we decided to carve the other pumpkins!  Dixie’s pumpkin was too small to use a stencil on so mom had to come up with a design. It came out pretty good!

Today we went to the Party Store!!!  Oh boy it was so fantastic!!  There was all kinds of stuff for Halloween!!!

I was not scared I am a fierce tiger!!!

We should totally come her more often. There is so much to see and do here!  And all kinds of great stuff to buy!

After that we went to the library and I picked out some books to bring home.

Outside the library there were some big geese swimming in the stream and when they saw us taking their picture they came over to us!!!  They were really big this picture does not show how big I was glad they did not get too close.  Mom says they are Canadian geese but I don’t know how she can possibly know what country they are from. Sheesh!

Oh boy Oh boy Oh boy we are going to carve the pumpkins!  Mom bought a totally awesome carving kit with stencils. There are so many good designs to choose from I had a really hard time deciding!  There was one that was Captain Kitty so we picked that one!

We decided to carve mom’s plain orange pumpkin first to practice on. The instructions said to get the pattern wet and lay it on the pumpkin as flat as possible.  But pumpkins are not flat!  Mom had a few things to say about that.  She also made some comments about the carving tool set such as who did they design these %$#&* tools for??

It was so much fun!!!  We ended up with a whole bowl full of pumpkin guts!!!  Mom said we need to be careful not to put that in the compost bin or we will have pumpkins growing everywhere in the yard.  But I think she said that backwards because we DO want pumpkins growing everywhere!!  It would be awesome to have our own pumpkin patch!   Hmmm.  Maybe I will just put half the pumpkin guts in the compost bin.

Here is the pumpkin all lit up!  I could not wait for nighttime so we are looking at it in the bathroom with the light turned off.  Mom said we will do the other pumpkins another day because the **#$%* tool set made her hand sore. At least she did not cut off a finger.

Look we also have a new foster cat!  His name is Kashi!  He is really nice and friendly and loves to be petted.  Also he is very handsome.

Kashi has some health issues and does not want to eat so he has a feeding tube. That is what is on his neck.  It is mostly just a big wrap to make sure the tube is secure.  He is fine with it and until he eats on his own that is how we feed him.

Today we hiked the NW Timber Trail at TIGER Mountain  Tigers Rule!

We met these really nice hikers on the trail. David and Thierry and Ginger the dog.  They were going to the summit and wanted us to go with them (because we knew the way) but we had other plans! David and Thierry were very handsome …but not quite as handsome as me. Ginger was really nice too and very happy to be going on a hike.

We crossed some pretty streams and I wanted to look closer at one. It was steep and muddy and mom said some interesting words on the way back up.

After walking in the woods for a long time we got to see some pretty viewpoints.

On the way back we hiked on a forest service road called the Power Line Road. Wow it was really big power lines you could hear them humming. Mom said stay close no scampering off. We hiked 6 miles count them 123456.   After we got back to the car and had snacks it started pouring rain!  We got back just in time! I hope Ginger and David and Thierry did not get soaked.

We went to TIGER Mountain for a hike!  Dixie got to come too!

We got to play jungle tigers!  Jungle animals.  Jungle Tiger and Jungle Golden Retriever.

We looked for flowers for Dixie but there weren’t any. It was not that kind of a hike.  We did see lots of mushrooms.  You should not eat them unless you are a fungus expert or else you might get a tummy ache or worse!

Lunch time!

While we were having lunch this super nice lady stopped to talk with us. Her name is Lindsey she is from Madison Wisconsin and is here for a wedding.  She was really nice and friendly and totally gorgeous!  And she told us good places to go if we ever go hiking in Wisconsin.  We are going to put Wisconsin on our To-Do list.

Here are some pretty trees. Mom did really good we hiked over 4 miles count them 1, 2, 3, 4!   That is the furthest mom has been able to go in months!  The shots the doctor put in her paw foot really worked!

On the way home from the hike we stopped at a library one I had not been to before. Outside the library it was like a park!

There were cool sculptures and stuff in the library park.

It was the best library ever!!!  Look at the friends me and Dixie made!  All these animals live in the children’s section of the library and anyone can play with them!

Aaahhhhh!  It is a dragon  Ha ha ha ha!  I am a tiger I was not scared.  Not really. I was just pretending.  It is a lot bigger than me.

We had a super duper time at the best library ever!

After we got home I made a To-Do list.

Both me and Dixie got to go to work today with Mom.  First we looked at the internet.  Dixie got to pick what we looked at.

After work mom said we were going to have a special treat because we had been so good lately!    it was a PUMPKIN PATCH!!!  OMG!!!

It had real pumpkins growing there in the wild and everything!!!  It was so amazing!

There were so many fun things to do there!!  We had a great time!!!

Not all the pumpkins were ripe.  But that is okay we do not want to eat them we want to make Jack O Lanterns!!   It was realllllly hard to decide which pumpkin to pick!!! There were a gazillion to pick from.

Dixie even found  a pumpkin flower!

Oh boy oh boy Mom let us each pick a pumpkin!  I picked one of these weird ones and Dixie wanted one of the pretty Pink Lady pumpkins and mom picked a plain old regular pumpkin.  We had the BEST time!

It was Seahawks Thursday at work so I got to wear my Seahawks bandanna.  A whole bunch of us posed with our Seahawks attire but I did not get a copy of those photos yet. Instead look at what I found on the internet while mom was at a meeting!  You can get your own name on a Seahawks shirt!!!   I hope they have this shirt in my size!!!

After work we went for a walk.  Mom is feeling better and saw a new special foot doctor who gave her some shots in her paw I mean foot.  Ow. But she can walk good now!  Dixie wanted to stop for photos with some flowers.

Oh wow this is a real good shot of us out for a walk riding in the satchel.  Mom’s hand is taking up  half the picture!!! Dixie’s foot is in my face!!  Ha ha ha!   It is a little hard to tell but Mom is wearing her Seahawks shirt.
